TOUCH TECHNOLOGY: On/Off and dimmer controls are designed to ONLY WORK ON THE PEDESTAL BASE; touching the mirror glass, bezel around mirror, and/or neck/stem will not activate the smart control operating technology. OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN APPEAR: This has a strong magnified mirror, there is an optimum viewing point for a clear image, if not at ideal distance, objects will be distorted and/or upside down, this is not a defect, mirror is designed to zoom in very close, may cause nausea when used for long periods of time.
