Product description Our hardback durable Battersea case can take on almost anything. It’s drop resistant up to 16ft, thanks to extra impact protection from D3O technology and it’s scratch resistant, to keep your iPhone safe and sound. Plus, with its soft and light finish, the Battersea looks great too. D3O Technology All of our cases use the World’s Leading Impact Protection material, D3O. This material offers the thinnest and most advanced protection against impact enabling us to create slim, stylish, protective cases that deliver the reassurance you want in a case. Using real phones, our cases are put through rigorous independent testing to military standards and also undergo Quality Control testing which includes, bend, rub, abrasion, color transfer and fit testing so you can be confident that our products are built to the highest standards to really take an impact. Flexible TPU We use billions of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) pellets each year, melting and molding them to create a high impact surround to our cases. This flexible material enables easy fitting and removal of the phone whilst delivering extra impact protection and a reassuring grip that stops your phone slipping from your hand. TPU has many applications including; power tools, sporting goods, automotive instrument panels and medical devices. Polycarbonate Back Plate Depending on the style of the case it may contain a polycarbonate (PC) back plate to provide further impact protection whilst providing optical transparency to show off the colour of your phone. PC is an extremely tough and strong engineering polymer recognized for it’s impact resistance. PC is used in many military applications such as helicopter rotor blades and bullet-proof “glass”.
