The wood needs to achieve the right humidity level before being treated and cut to avoid future warping of the wood. Teeth are cut into the wood After the wood has been cut into strips the teeth are cut into the comb. Each tooth is 1mm wide and the space between each tooth is 2mm wide. This permits the beard comb to glide through a beard without pulling on hairs. Combs are quality controlled After the combs are cut, sanded and polished they are quality checked to ensure the wood hasn't warped, that the teeth are properly attached and that the comb meets our ZilberHaar standards.
