The E7018 Premium Arc Stick Electrodes Welding Rod is engineered for versatile and dependable welding performance. This 6-pack of ten-pound boxes are available in sizes of one-eighth inch, three thirty-seconds of an inch, and five thirty-seconds of an inch, with each rod measuring fourteen inches in length. Conforming to American Welding Society standards E7018 (American Society of Mechanical Engineers/Society for Mechanical Engineers), these rods are suitable for direct current positive welding with a recommended amperage range of 100 to 140. They are designed for all-position welding, making them ideal for various challenging applications. This electrode is especially effective for welding hardenable steels, cold-rolled steels, or other steels containing high sulfur or selenium, and is often used where stress relieving cannot be applied. With a smooth arc and minimal spatter, it delivers clean, quality welds in both vertical and overhead positions.
