Combed cotton is yarn that has been combed to remove the shortest fibers before spinning, leaving longer, stronger fibers. The result is a smoother surface, stronger weave, and less pilling — even after 200+ washes. Do these towels shed or leave lint in the dryer? Very little, especially after the first wash. The combed cotton process removes short, loose fibers from the yarn before weaving, so there is minimal lint after the first couple of washes. Essentially no shedding after. Are these towels good for sensitive skin? Yes. The combed cotton has no synthetic blends, and we do not use harsh dyes.
