How long does the battery last? The battery runtime is 4–5 hours. If you pre-cool the fridge using the power cord and then switch to battery power, you can extend the runtime by an additional 1–2 hours. How can the temperature display unit be switched? The temperature display unit can be switched by pressing and holding the “temperature up” button and the “temperature down” button simultaneously. The unit will then toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). Can the batteries be charged while installed in the refrigerator? No. The batteries need to be removed from the refrigerator and charged separately using the battery charger. The batteries cannot be charged while installed in the cooler.
