Is it stable when fully assembled? For best results, place the rack against a wall, install the included anti-tip kit, and fully insert all tubes into the connectors. Proper assembly is important, and a loaded rack is generally more stable than an empty one. Do I need tools? No tools are required. Simply press the tubes firmly into the reinforced connectors until fully seated (about 0.7–0.75 in / 1.7–1.9 cm) for proper assembly. Is the rack made entirely of metal? No. The rack uses powder-coated carbon steel tubes with reinforced PP connectors. The plastic connectors help simplify tool-free assembly and are designed for normal filament storage use when assembled correctly.
