Protocols and DPF logic are rewritten and encrypted, so only the brand’s official software—not Cummins tools or the HD7000 Elite—can diagnose them. Why did DPF regeneration fail on my vehicle? Common reasons: 1. DPF regeneration conditions are not met, e.g., clutch not depressed, accelerator pedal not pressed, vehicle in neutral. 2. Active fault codes exist on the vehicle. 3.
