Product description Designed to give protection to vital underbody components including steering, engine sump, transmission and transfer case, ARB Under Vehicle Protection Panels are laser cut, press formed and folded to provide protection to vulnerable under body components. The 2015 on Prado 150 Under Vehicle Protection Panels consist of four panels. The front, sump and transmission panels bolt directly to the chassis and provide continuous under vehicle protection from front bar or bumper to transmission. The Transfer case panel bolts directly to the transfer case. Bumpers and rock sliders might save your body panels from dings and damage but most of the time, the serious damage happens where you can't see it - in the under-carriage. ARB's new line of Skid Plates are just the thing for protecting you from that challenging off-road terrain that often has those unexpected obstacles that can cause the most vehicle destructive damage. Designed to protect all of your vital under-body components from end to end, be reassured that your steering, oil pan and transfer cases will all be safe. The Under Vehicle Protection will fit with or without an ARB front bar. Fitment has not been confirmed with other bar designs. Specifications Press formed and expertly folded for optimum strength to weight. The first skid plate panel system specifically designed for SUVs, these panels feature the same construction as the current range of panels, i.e. pressed and folded 3mm steel. Due to the Prado 120/150, 4Runner and FJ Cruiser sharing the same chassis platform, the same skid plate design has been used for the four vehicles. However, a second kit has been built to suit the Prado 150 with Kinetic suspension system as a slightly different lower 'bulge' is required in the front panel due to the positioning of the kinetic sway bar. The transmission panel is common to both kits and also to petrol and diesel engine variants. It has a two position mounting bracket providing a lower mount for petrol engine vehicles where the exhaust sits lower than diesel models. The transmission panel is also tapered to the rear to clear chassis bracing that is unique to the Prado/FJ chassis design.
