The Blackbird degree H.265 HDMI degree over IP Kit allows you to distribute an HDMI video signal to distances up to 492 feet (150 meters) over a single Cat5e/6 Ethernet cable. In addition to a normal connection between the Encoder/Transmitter and Decoder/Receiver, the Encoder can be connected directly to a computer and the signal can be decoded using the VLC degree free, open source media player. It can also connect to one or more Decoders/Receivers through an Ethernet switch, thereby allowing distribution to multiple displays. it supports the H.264 and H.265 codecs and video resolutions up to 1900x1200@60Hz with the YCbCr 4:4:4 color space.

Network Broadcast: The system is designed to work with your existing Gigabit Ethernet network, allowing you to extend the HDMI signal to any part of your home. Simply add a decoder at the remote location to view the source video. This gives a virtually unlimited number of extensions.
Supports Full HD: In addition to support for Full HD (1080p) video, this extendersupports video resolutions up to 1900x1200@60Hz with the YCbCr 4:4:4 color space.
Video Compression: When transmitted over a network, Full HD uncompressed video canbog down the network. H.265 real time video compression reduces the bandwidth required for Full HD video, ensuring that it doesn't negatively impact network performance.
492 Foot Transmission Distance: This system extends Full HD HDMI video to distances up to 492feet (150 meters) over a single Cat5e/5 Ethernet cable.
Works With VLC: Rather than using a decoder to view video over the network, you can connect your computer and use the VLC free, open source media player to decode and watch the video.
