Remove the screws from the old burn pot. 2. Rotate the burn pot 45° so the corners point outward (not parallel to the auger) 3. Lift the outward flang (away from the auger) of the burn pot to pull the part up and out from the auger tube 4. Reinstall with our new parts. If the new screws can't work on your grill, use your old screws. 1. How to troubleshoot ignition issues? Check if hot rod glows red within 2-3 minutes of startup. Replace fuse if blown (included in kit). Ensure hot rod protrudes 1/8 to 1/4 into fire pot. 2. Is this made of stainless steel? No, it's made of high-strength steel (not stainless), but it has better thickness & heat retention for long-lasting use. 3. Will it work on Pit Boss grills too? It fits most Pit Boss pellet grills, though compatibility is NOT for ALL models. You can check the compatibility with us if unsure. 4. Why may the new screws not fit? Different models may use different screws, so you'd better retain the old screws. Also, newer models (like Pro 780) have different plugs - you may need to swap connectors. 5. How to clean the ash remover? After each use, allow the ash remover to cool. Tap or shake off loose ash and debris or use a dry brush or cloth to clean it. Or deep cleaning by rinsing with warm water.
