Product description The Kids Knee Band by BraceAbility is specifically designed to compress the area directly below your child's kneecap, helping distribute pressure off the sore knee joint and patellar tendon to alleviate pain caused by Osgood-Schlatter disease, runner's knee, jumper's knee, patellofemoral pain syndrome, chondromalacia, and patellar tendonitis. HOW IT WORKS The rubberized, tubular insert applies uniform compression over your child’s patellar tendon, relieving stress on the tendon and its attachment at the growth plate (tibial tuberosity) on the tibia (shinbone). This helps spread pressure across a larger area to alleviate pain while hiking, walking, running, jumping, or playing sports. KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS The neoprene material traps therapeutic heat to increase circulation and heal sore or aching muscles.
