Connect your smartphone or laptop to the default WiFi network (BrosTrend_EXT or BrosTrend_5GEXT). Step 2 Complete Web Setup Open a web browser and log in to the WiFi access point’s web interface. Select Access Point Mode and follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup. Step 3 Install Outdoors If using the included passive PoE injector, connect its LAN port to your main router’s LAN/Ethernet port or an internet-enabled Ethernet port. If using a PoE switch, make sure it is internet-connected and supports 802.3at (PoE+) or 802.3bt (PoE++). Use a Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable up to 328 ft (100 m), then relocate the access point outdoors.
