It is particularly effective for dissimilar steel welding and broken bolt extraction, offering outstanding results on a variety of materials. With superior wear, shock, and corrosion resistance, Brutus AAA provides welds with incredible strength and elongation, ensuring long-lasting repairs in demanding applications. This easy-to-use rod is perfect for repairs that require precise control and a smooth, strong weld. It is ideal for thin sections and delicate parts, providing excellent results on dies, tools, molds, gears, and food-handling equipment. Brutus AAA's special flux coating enhances its operating characteristics, allowing welders to achieve high-quality, durable welds with minimal effort. Its high strength and ductility make it suitable for virtually all steel repairs, both similar and dissimilar. Application: Bevel heavy sections. Hold a short arc or drag. Use stringer beads. For high alloys and heavy sections preheat to 400°F (240°C), skip weld, and peen to avoid internal stress.
