The Campbell Hausfeld XT401000 3/8-Inch Reversible Air Drill combines pneumatic power with convenient control for drilling and surface preparation. Its 0.4 HP air motor delivers a free speed of 2,000 RPM and up to 30 ft-lb of torque for drilling, honing and wire brushing compatible metal and wood surfaces. The keyless chuck makes changing drill bits and accessories quick and convenient without requiring a separate chuck key. It accepts shanks from 3/64 to 3/8 inch. A side-mounted forward and reverse toggle allows one-handed directional changes, while the ergonomic grip, composite housing and 2.3 lb. design support controlled handling during automotive, garage and workshop projects. The XT401000 uses an average of 4.0 CFM at 90 PSI and features a 1/4-inch NPT female air inlet. A minimum 3/8-inch air hose and an air compressor with at least a 26-gallon tank are recommended. The single-planetary gear system provides dependable power transfer for compatible drilling and surface-preparation tasks.
