Burn-In the Mantle Reattach the glass globe & ventilator. Keep the canister level and screw in vertically. Tilting or overtightening may cause gas leaks or instability. 4. Ignition Pull the lever to ignite and adjust the flame. After burn-in, the mantle becomes fragile. Uneven burn-in may cause damage. Retry if ignition fails. What type of gas canister can be used? This lantern is compatible with standard EN417 Lindal valve camping canisters. -With Adapter Z22, it can be used with a 1LB propane tank. -With Adapters Z11, Z23-CB, or Z23-VC, it supports 8oz butane cassette canisters. How do I ignite the lantern? The lantern features a built-in auto igniter. Simply press the button to ignite—no lighter needed. Are there any precautions when using the lantern? Outdoor use only.
