Ultimate Comfort (StayLite) has more padding and added flotation while remaining flexible. Which vest should I choose if I’m new to wakesurfing? If you're newer or prefer extra flotation, choose Ultimate Comfort. If you’re confident in the water and want maximum mobility, choose Pro Comp. Are these vests good for hard falls? Yes. Both styles are built as impact vests. The snug fit and padding help absorb and disperse impact when you fall. Do the men’s and women’s vests fit differently? Yes. Both styles are available in men’s and women’s cuts. The shaping reflects traditional gender-specific design for improved comfort and fit. How should a competition vest fit? It should feel snug, almost compressive, when dry. These vests loosen slightly once wet. If it rides up when you raise your arms, it’s too big.
