Because of this, the size and number of roaches will vary slightly; there may be tiny Dubia babies mixed in. We weigh in your favor - you will receive more Dubia than you've ordered! How to Store: While waiting to feed Dubia to your pets, they should be stored in a plastic container without a lid, or with a lid that has holes, with the piece of egg crate they come in. They cannot climb smooth surfaces, but can climb silicone present in glass aquariums if you choose to use one. DISCLAIMER: Our dubia may come with Buffalo beetles (Alphitobius diaperinus), also known as lesser mealworms. Buffalo beetles will not harm dubia, and will in fact eat decaying organic matter such as old food and dead roaches to help keep your dubia colony clean and healthy.
