Burn for one hour per inch of width, or a maximum of 4 hours at a time. Let it rest before lighting again. What if I can hardly smell the scent from the candle? How to avoid setting my candle on fire? Some of our candles come with a steel heat shield, which minimizes the risk of the wooden bowl setting on fire.
