Skullerz THOR Polarized Safety Glasses feature a durable full-frame design that bends and flexes without breaking. These protective safety glasses feature polycarbonate lenses to protect against impacts and filter 99.9 percent of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays. A non-slip rubber nose piece and rubber temples keep the glasses secure and resist sweat. LENS TECHNOLOGIES. POLARIZED. Polarized lenses reduce harsh glare by blocking horizontal light waves, helping cut eye fatigue in bright environments around water, snow, and on open job sites. TESTED TO BE TRUSTED. These impact-resistant safety glasses are tested to ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 High-Velocity Impact Protection and optical requirements, the US standard for Personal Eye and Face Protection Devices, and are listed on the frame (Z87.1+). These glasses are also tested to MIL-PRF-32432 Ballistic Fragmentation, Class 1, the US Military Combat Eye Protection System Performance Specification for eyewear. To pass the military standard, safety glasses must withstand a steel projectile shot at 660 ft / 201m per second, which is 4x faster than the Z87+ standard. Lenses must not puncture, crack, or shatter, and frames must retain the lenses without breaking. These safety glasses are great for protecting your eyes during outdoor work like construction, carpentry/woodworking, or landscaping. They are also great for outdoor hobbies like boating, skiing, fishing, hunting/shooting, sports, and more. CHOOSING THE RIGHT LENS. Available in a variety of lens options ideally suited for a wide range of tasks and light environments. Lens options include Polarized // Copper for outdoor bright light, glare, high contrast, and water environments with 14% Visual Light Transmission (VLT); Polarized // Smoke for outdoor bright light and glare with 12% VLT; and Polarized // G15 for outdoor bright light, glare, high contrast, and water environments with 11% VLT.
