Free Standing - TLC was designed to stand up when matched to a regular hollow metal offset handle walking cane giving you CONVENIENCE. If connected to a heavier/taller stick, like a wooden walking stick, it may require a stronger spring or adding some pre-load to the spring to make it stand. Contact the FlexSTICK Company if you have questions or problems with the TLC standing with your cane or stick. 5" Tip to Tip Strong, lightweight base (8.7oz) - Base is made of fiber-reinforced plastic with a high strength to weight ratio and has 3 rubber tips. Easily fits on stairs!Flexible Bending Coiled Spring - enables base to freely pivot >120° working like an 'ankle' to adjust to any terrain at any angle giving you STABILITY!Anti-Shock - the spring gives you COMFORT, protecting your hands from the repeated pounding impact of leaning on your cane NOTE - The FlexTIP TLC base will add 2.5" to the length of your cane. If you have an adjustable cane you will need to shorten accordingly. For a wooden cane, it may require cutting it to fit properly.
