DRILLING COUNTER HOLE: The vase style non-air gap faucet stem is approximately 7/16 inches wide, so you would need to drill a hole larger than that. The escutcheon plate, that goes on top of the counter, is approximately 2 inches wide, but the washer that goes underneath the counter is approximately 1 and 11/16" wide. So, drill counter hole over 7/16 inches wide, but under 1-11/16 inches wide. Installation Process Step 2 Under the sink, slide on the bevel washer, steel washer, lock washer and the nut last. Installation Process Step 3 Use the RO faucet wrench provided to easily tighten and secure the faucet in place. Installation Process Step 4 Place the included compression nut over the tubing, followed by the ferrule and the plastic insert last.
