If your source outputs 7.1 sound, you may need to manually set it to 5.1 in the source device settings. Why am I not getting any audio output? Check the eARC/ARC mode setting. When ON, audio is returned from the TV to the amplifier/soundbar. When OFF, audio comes directly from the HDMI input source. Please refer to the manual for connection setup and audio signal settings. Why am I seeing "No Video" or "No Signal" on my TV? Ensure the TV’s HDMI input is set to the eARC/ARC port connected to “OUT TV (eARC).” Verify the source is plugged into “IN Source” and powered on (IN LED should be green). Try a different HDMI 2.1 cable (max 3m/10ft) for both input and output. What should I do if I experience intermittent connection or flickering? Test with a different display or soundbar to check compatibility. Reset the EDID to factory default by setting the DIP switches to 111. Ensure all cables are HDMI 2.1-rated and do not exceed 3m/10ft in length. Does this device have volume control or work with headphones? No built-in volume control. Volume is managed by your soundbar/AVR or by the TV (if supported). The analog output is line-level and not intended for earphones/earbuds without their own volume control or amplifier. Important Compatibility Notes: The OPTICAL port supports up to 5.1-channel audio only—it does not support 7.1 or downmix 7.1 audio. Older HDMI sources such as PS3 or Xbox 360 may not be compatible and could cause audio loss. The OUT TV (eARC) port must be connected to an eARC-compatible TV; some monitors that lack eARC may not work. Samsung Q-Symphony is not supported. For proper operation, connect stable 5 V power, and set your TV’s eARC = ON and Audio = Bitstream/Pass-Through.
