Preparation Park in a shaded area, temperature must be above 32°F (0°C). Pop the hood for easier access. Step 1 – Clean the headlights Wash the headlights and surrounding painted areas with water and paper towel. Dry completely​ before proceeding. Step 2 – Tape around the headlights Use delicate-surface painter's tape​ to protect the paint around the headlights. Step 3 – First application of surface activator Save half​ of the activator for later (use about 1/4 bottle per headlight). Spray to fully cover the lens → wait 30 seconds​ → rinse off with water. Orange/yellow residue running off is normal. Step 4 – Wet sanding Keep the headlight and sandpaper wet​ throughout. Use circular motions​ and sand 5 minutes per headlight​ for each grit: Total sanding time: at least 30 minutes. Headlights will look worse after sanding — this is normal. Keep going. Step 5 – Apply clarifying compound Use a quarter-size amount​ on the included white towel. Wet the headlight → rub firmly in circular motions Step 6 – Second application of surface activator Spray the remaining activator​ to fully cover the lens → wait 30 seconds. (Follow product instructions for whether to rinse.) Step 7 – Curing time Do not touch​ the headlights for at least 1 hour. Do not drive or expose to rain​ for at least 6 hours. WARM TIPS: 1. Keep away from pregnant women and children during use. 2. Try to wear a mask while using it.
