Product description 25 Pack of black EPDM rubber silencing washers that are commonly used with TLMAB mounting posts, chicago screws, slotted posts and other sheath and holster mounting assemblies. They are used to cushion and silence the contact points between the holster and mounting attachments. We've tested many brands of these washers and these are the top-of-the-line. They are used and endorsed by professional holster and sheath makers around the world. EPDM synthetic rubber is a bit more rigid than neoprene and allows less flex between the attachment and the holster/sheath. This is preferred by some custom holster and sheath makers. See More

HIGH QUALITY WEATHER RESISTANT EPDM: Resists damaging ultraviolet radiation from the sun as well as outdoor temperature extremes. The EPDM washers contain superior aging qualities that will stand the test of time and always keep a leak proof seal.
MADE OF EPDM: EPDM is a type of synthetic rubber. It is extremely durable and flexible and therefore has a wide range of applications, including in vehicles (where it is used for window and door seals, as well as cooling system hoses), cold-rooms, non-slip coatings for decks and playgrounds and many others besides. In simple terms, pure rubber becomes brittle with temperature variable, wherein synthetic rubber (EPDM) remain flexible and withstand temperature variations for decades.
EPDM RUBBER: EPDM provide the cross-linking that gives incredible resilience, flexibility and durability. The excellent material properties of EPDM come from this molecular mesh structure and make it unbeatable in terms of elasticity and resistance to ageing.
