The General Tools 8501 Glass Cutter is perfect for cutting glass and DIY projects including mirrors, window panes, custom picture frames, glass shelves and stained glass.Instructions • Coat cutting wheel with oil prior to scoring glass • Measure glass and score glass surface with an even firm pressure • Place ball of handle, or small dowel, under scored glass to elevate and press evenly on both sides of glass****When handling glass, it is recommended to wear gloves to prevent cuts From the Manufacturer Glass cutter cuts plate glass from 1/8" to 1/4" thick. Cuts single or double strength glass. It has a ball end handle for snapping of scored glass. The tooth design is to remove rough edges. Length 5".
