Crucial Components THREAD GUIDE / THREAD STAND Ensures the smooth and controlled movement of the thread during the winding process. By directing the thread in a controlled manner, the thread guide helps in achieving even and consistent thread winding onto the bobbin. THREAD SPOOL / SPOOL PIN The thread spool serves as a container for the thread, holding it securely in place. It is designed to fit into a specific socket on the bobbin winder, ensuring stability and preventing the spool from slipping or wobbling during operation. TENSION KNOB / TENSION DISC The thread passes through this gap, creating friction that determines the amount of tension applied to the thread. By turning the tension knob, the user can increase or decrease the tension applied to the thread. INFRARED SENSOR The INFRARED SENSOR detects the fullness of the thread: once the bobbin is filled with thread, it will block the infrared ray which then stop the motor automatically. BOBBIN STORAGE These two poles are designed to temporarily place your empty or winded bobbins. INTERCHANGEABLE BOBBIN SPINDLE To wind Pfaff/Husqvarna bobbins, simply remove the UNIVERSAL BOBBIN SPINDLE and replace it with the PFAFF/VIKING spindle and wind your Pfaff/Husqvarna bobbins as usual.
