The Hunter NODE-400 is a battery-operated irrigation controller designed for power-restricted areas where reliable, multi-zone watering is needed. Perfect for valve boxes in residential and commercial landscapes, this 4-station controller combines durability, convenience, and flexible scheduling in one compact unit. Built with an IP68 waterproof rating, the NODE-400 is fully submersible up to 12 feet and engineered to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including flooded valve boxes. It runs on one or two 9V alkaline batteries or connects to the optional Hunter Solar Panel Kit (SPNODE) for continuous solar-powered operation without battery maintenance. Contractors and professionals can take advantage of its 3 independent programs, each with 4 start times per day and run times up to 6 hours per station. Seasonal Adjustment lets users fine-tune watering duration without reprogramming schedules, while Easy Retrieve™ memory stores settings safely during battery changes or storage. The NODE-400 supports 9V DC latching solenoids (sold separately) and is compatible with Hunter Clik sensors and other weather-responsive devices. It includes master valve operation, valve-mounted or surface mounting options, and a user-friendly LCD interface.
