Caution: Tap only the corner of the wooden body. Striking any other area may cause the body to crack.Once the blade is loose, lightly tap the upper side of the blade to remove it. How to Install and Adjust the Blade Lay the plane on its side and insert the blade into the blade slot. Lightly tap the center of the blade with a hammer until it is held securely.Lightly tap the top of the blade to adjust how far the cutting edge projects from the sole.
