Anyone can intuitively master any keyboard keys or macro commands through VIA software. The Q4 is designed to be able to assemble easily, so you can customize it the way you want. With full aluminum frame, a compact 60% layout, double-gasket design, excellent compatibility with macOS, Windows, Linux, hot-swappable functionality, PCB screw-in stabilizer, and south-facing RGB, the Q4 is crafted for personalized premium typing comfort. Master Any Keys or Macros with QMK/VIA QMK/VIA literally means endless possibilities for a fluid workflow. Simply connect the Q4 to your device with a cable, import the Q4 keymap JSON file into the VIA software, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on macOS, Windows, or Linux operating systems, e.g.: create a macro command of a screenshot on macOS. Check our user guide or user manual for more instructions. A brand new ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU which is powerful, and armed with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. 60% Compact Layout The Q4 is crafted with CNC machined 6063 aluminum that is processed through polished, anodized, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages to this compact 60% layout. PCB Screw-In Stabilizer The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for “big keys” such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness. Double-shot PBT Keycaps The Q4 comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical-angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use. Disassembling and Assembling with Ease Double-Gasket design allows the Q4 to maintain its flexibility and improves overall typing sound. Added sound-absorbing and case foams inside to significantly reduce the sound resonance and noise between the metals. Each keyboard component could be reassembled easily, so you can customize it the way you want. Wired Connectivity A reliable USB Type-C wired connection with 1000 Hz polling rate and NKRO make sure you won't miss a beat no matter cranking out emails or code. Note: Please avoid connecting the Q4 with a laptop through a hub to ensure enough power supply. For the same reason, please turn off the keyboard backlight if the Q4 is connecting with a tablet. Hot-Swappable with MX Switches The hot-swappable sockets supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.), so you can customize your favorite switches without soldering. while the pre-installed Gateron G Pro mechanical clicky blue switch providing unrivaled tactile responsiveness with up to 50 million keystroke lifespan. For Mac & Windows Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron Q4 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.
