And when you turn the knob too far to the right, you can quickly and easily Recone your subwoofer in the field! Using an exclusive, surround compression system, bolt-on spider landing, and helpful alignment shims, the L7X pre-assembled cone assembly gets you rebuilt in minutes – no gluing required!The Re-Cone Assembly consists of a pre-assembled cone, surround, and voice coil that will be bolted into the L7X motor and Basket Assembly, assuring perfect cone and voice-coil alignment.Because there is no glue utilized in the recone process, the cone can be replaced in minutes if failure occurs in the field. Alignment shims are included.IMPORTANT!! Recone impedance MUST match your original subwoofer's design. You can't put a 1-Ohm Recone in a 2-Ohm Subwoofer/Motor Assembly.
