You can cut the extension (or the LS2 itself) along specified cut lines, to get the perfect length for wherever you want to place it. The VOCOlinc app gives you additional features not found in other apps, that bring your lighting to life! Special lighting effects include Flow, Flicker, Breathe, Candle, and Blink. None of these effects are available in other apps, so you really do get something extra special that take your lights to a new dimension. The Overview page of the VOCOlinc app, allow for quick access to simple settings for your LS2 SmartGlow Light Strip, including the Hue and brightness levels, as well as information on any firmware updates. The Settings page allows quick access to the fine details about your LS2 SmartGlow Light Strip, including an option for when you extend your light strip, an option to connect your lights to the VOCOlinc Cloud (required for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant), as well as options for checking the strength of the wifi signal for your device and the ability to quickly move your lights to different 'virtual' rooms.
