While hiking from my adopted hometown of Crested Butte to Aspen, we were passing the famous Maroon Bells and I had an idea (because my back began to ache). Personally, I have used it down to 50°F, but any colder and I'm miserable. My buddy has used it down into the low 40's and he sleeps like a baby. My nieces can barely handle the mid 50's.
