Start with a room temperature Gel Beads Pack. 2. Wrap the Gel Pack in a moist cloth or paper towel and place the Pack in the center of a clean microwave turntable (not touching the sides). Make sure that any additional microwave features are turned off, such as “browning” or “convection.” 3. Microwave initially for 20-30 seconds depending on the strength of your microwave. 4. Check to make sure the Hot Pack is not too hot before you apply it to your skin. 5. If more warmth is required, reheat for an additional 5-10 seconds until it is warm enough. Before reheating, knead the Pack gently to make sure the Gel Beads are evenly distributed, and that no part of the Pack is too hot. This can sometimes happen at the edge of the Pack, due to the nature of microwave heating. Rotate the Pack 180 degrees and reheat as needed. 6. DO NOT keep the Pack on your skin longer than is comfortable. The Hot Pack should not be applied for more than 20 minutes.
