This potting mix is best suited for outdoor potted plants, including your favorite flowers, annuals, perennials, vegetables, and shrubs. How to use: Choose a pot with drainage holes at the bottom. Fill the pot about 1/3 full with the potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place it in the pot. Add more potting mix and gently press it down to level it. Water and let the water drain. For best results, refer to the plant's label for its specific light requirements. Allow the surface of the potting mix to dry between waterings; do not let the plant soak in the drainage water. To prevent soil compaction and replenish nutrients, all potted plants should be repotted annually or as needed with fresh potting mix. One 25-quart container (approximately 23.7 liters). One bag of potting soil can fill three 10-inch flower pots.
