The Elrigs motion sensor bulb has an integrated motion detector and light detector. The three adjustable parameters - Detection Range, Duration Time and Twilight Threshold- allow the bulb to suit different situations and ambience. With a standard E26 base, it can be used on any E26 socket without any further installation. It detects not only the movement of pepole, but also motion of pets, even motion of cars, bikes etc. The sensor detects any change in the reflected waves and can detect even the slightest motion within the detection range. The microprocessor then triggers the "turn-on light" command. Detection is possible through glass, doors, windows or thin walls.Compared to the traditional infrared sensor light bulb, the radar sensor light bulb possesses a larger reach, is not affected by temperature, and works securely even in harsh weather conditions. How to set the light bulb Set up twilight threshold that lights up the bulb Always keep off if ambience light is brighter than light setting, even though the bulb senses any movement. Auto turn on only when ambience light is darker than light setting and motion is detected. -> Clockwise: brightest daylight about 3000lux(Default setting) ->Counter clockwise: Darkest at night Adjust detection range Customize the detection radius from 6 to 26 feet, if set a large detection range, the bulb senses motion through glass, wood and thin wall. -> Clockwise: Maximum detection range (Default setting) ->Counter clockwise: Minimum detection range Control how long the bulb stays on After motion ceased in detection range the bulb turns off in a duration period(3s-5min.), will add one more period if any motion is detected again. -> Clockwise: stays on for 5 minutes ->Counter clockwise: stays on for 3 seconds(Default setting) Note 1 Because the microwave sensor has 360 grad sensing coverage, it can be installed downward, upward also vertical to wall, we have tested when bulb is installed in height of 8 feet. Mounting in higher place may cause other result, especially install the bulb upward. Note 2 Because microwave sensor is more sensitive than PIR sensor and detects through glass, wood and thin wall, it can be installed in an enclosed light fixture, just set the suitable sensing range according to your requirement. We recommend you install the bulb in a large space and area with awkward spaces like corners such as your driveway or garden. Note 3 If you install the bulb for the first time or you cut-off then cut-in the power supply under very bright light (brighter than light setting), it will turn on for 30 seconds to calibrate and then keep off. • [ADJUSTABLE DETECTION RANGE] The bulb will automatically turn on when the intelligent sensor detects even a tiny movement in its detection range(3.3-26 feet adjustable) and triggers "turn on light" command. If the detection range is too large, it will also detect movement through glass, wood and stud walls. NOTE: If the bulb keeps on & dosen’t turn off, check if the bulb’s detection range is too large.
• [ADJUSTABLE DURATION TIME] You can control and adjust how long the bulb stays on. The bulb is able to stay on for 3s-5min until no movement is detected in the detection range. NOTE: If any movement is detected in the duration time, will add one more duration time period(3s-5min).
• [ADJUSTABLE LIGHT SENSITIVITY] With built-in photo cell sensor black out the bulb when ambient light is brighter than light setting of the bulb. You can choose when the bulb will be on(1-3000 Lux), e.g. 1 Lux during total dark at midnight, 3000 Lux during midday sunshine. NOTE: Bulb will only turn on when the ambience light is darker than your bulb’s light setting and movement is detected in detection range.
• [WIDE APPLICATION] The standard A19 bulb with E26 base can be used anywhere you like. Simply screw it in an E26 socket, turn on the switch, then it works. Put it in the hallway, porch, walkway, patio, garage, staircase, restroom, balcony, gallery, office, etc. even in an enclosed light fixture, indoor or outdoor, it's up to you. NOTE: Please keep the switch on after you install the bulb, meanwhile if more bulbs are installed, keep distance of each bulb more than 6.56 feet.
