Select the required insert ring, seat it fully in the plate opening, and secure it with the included ring wrench. Before routing, confirm that the ring is properly seated and does not move. How Do I Reduce Movement In The Router Lift? Secure the compatible 3-1/2" router motor evenly in the clamp block, adjust the three cam wheels to reduce gaps around the table opening, and engage the height screw lock after setting the bit height. What Should I Check Before Using The Router Lift? Confirm that the plate is level, the router motor is securely clamped, the insert ring is seated, and the lift moves smoothly without unusual looseness. Stop use and inspect the setup if excessive movement is found.
