The Petzl TOP is a chest harness designed to transform seat harnesses into EN 361 certified fall-arrest systems. This harness connects to the rear buckle and ventral attachment point of Petzl ASTRO SIT, AVAO SIT, FALCON, and SEQUOIA SRT seat harnesses. By transferring the load from the waistbelt to the shoulders, it ensures the user remains upright in the event of a fall. It features an X-shaped dorsal construction that wraps well around the shoulders to reduce pressure points during prolonged suspension. The foam-padded shoulder straps are widely spaced to prevent neck chafing. Unlike the "TOP CROLL" models, this version is streamlined without an integrated rope clamp, making it ideal for work positioning and fall arrest where rope ascent is not required.
