Be careful, accidental drop will make it out of tune, as the tongues will get deformation by falling from heights. It comes with sticker notes (can be removed if you want) that assist you to distinguish the notes with ease. These are not essential, but it is very helpful for beginners to identify the notes. The notes might fall off during use, so keeping the transparent stickers on the top of the notes as where they are prolongs the service time. 2 sets of alternative note stickers are provided for replacement. Note: The tuner in the picture is not included! 2 ways of playing: You can use your fingers to play the steel tongue drums, and you can also use mallets or finger picks. However, if you tap the drum with fingers, you will get weak sounds that the drum do not produce a lot of reverb and sustain. Playing with fingers is hard and requires much more technique that you have to strike it with enough power. So you are recommended to play it with mallets to get more resonance and a louder sound. It can produce surprising volume considering its small size. There are 3 silicone feet on the bottom side to keep it stabilized when playing.
