The Nanlite BM40 Beauty Dish Reflector is a specialized type of light modifier that provides attractive, soft light with a unique sharpness that's especially appealing for portraiture and fashion photography. It features durable metal construction, a large 15.9" diameter, and a standard Bowens Mount for vast compatibility. This kit includes a removable honeycomb grid, a diffusion sock, and a 2-year warranty that extends to 3 years with online registration. The attached light bounces off a deflector plate and onto a white interior, which features an orange-peel texture for more even and concentrated light. The included diffuser can easily be attached to further soften the light. The round shape creates attractive catchlights in your subject's eyes. The included honeycomb grid is easy to install and remove, and effectively controls the beam to focus the light and reduce spill on nearby surfaces. SOFT AND SHARP Provides a unique quality of light that's both soft and sharp, that makes hair and makeup pop. TEXTURED WHITE INTERIOR The inside of this beauty dish is white with an orange-peel texture, which creates a more even reflection of the light on your subject. BOWENS COMPATIBILITY Designed for lights up to 600W, the BM40 features a standard Bowens Mount for compatibility with a wide range of lights. INCLUDED ACCESSORIES Comes with a removable honeycomb grid that controls the beam and reduces spill, and a removable diffusion sock that further softens the light.
