Speakers using the Twist-Lock ring can be loaded from the rear or the front which affects the required mounting depth for installation. Rear-Load Depth The twist-lock ring is upright and the speaker is loaded from the rear, rotated clockwise to lock into place. The overall mounting depth is less than the front-load method. Front-Load Depth The twist-lock ring is inverted and the speaker is loaded from the front, rotated clockwise to lock into place. The overall mounting depth is more than the rear-load method.
