Product description Guidance 1. Sanding Sequence: Move step by step from lower to higher grit sizes; do not skip too many grit sizes at once (e.g., going directly from grit 120 to 600), as this may lead to uneven surfaces. 2. Material Suitability: Soft materials (e.g., wood, plastic) work well with medium to high grit sizes; for hard materials (e.g., metal, hardwood), you should gradually switch from lower to higher grit sizes. 3. The highest grit size in this set is 3000. It can finely polish the target surface to a smooth matte finish with a soft sheen, but it cannot create a glossy or mirror-like surface. 4. This product is a consumable (it gets used up over time). A small amount of dust and debris falling off during production, packaging, and use is unavoidable and considered normal. 5. Dust may be produced during sanding. It is recommended to wear a face mask, goggles, and gloves to ensure safety and hygiene. You can also use a soft brush to clean up dust and debris right away while sanding. 6. Choose the right grit size based on what you need to use it for. If coarse-grit sandpaper is used on objects requiring fine sanding, scratches may occur on the surface of the target object. Conversely, if fine-grit sandpaper is applied to objects that need surface smoothing, the desired result of a smooth surface may not be achieved. 7. When using it on porous materials (like wood, which has small holes), dry sanding is recommended first; wet sanding may stain the object. 8. If you need to do wet sanding, add an appropriate amount of clean water or foam— adding too much water might not actually do a better job. 9. After using sandpaper that has been wet, dry it promptly. This helps keep the sandpaper strong and makes it easier to use again later. 10. You can cut the product to the right size if needed, so it fits your objects and work tasks better. Characteristics and Typical Applications of Different Grits Grit 120-320 Coarse particles with moderate cutting force. Capable of removing coarse sanding marks while preventing excessive surface abrasion. Application: Sanding of wood cut surfaces, metal surface pre-treatment, wall sanding, semi-finished furniture sanding, removal of accumulated surface stains, etc. Grit 400-1000 Medium particles with weak cutting force, primarily used to enhance surface smoothness and reduce scratches. Application: Medium sanding of wood, coating sanding (to improve topcoat adhesion), metal pre-treatment for fine sanding, wall smoothing, surface sanding and deburring of plastic parts (e.g., models, toys), precision removal of surface stains, etc. Grit 1500-3000 Fine particles with virtually no cutting force, capable of sanding surfaces to a smooth finish with a soft or matte luster. Application: Removing paint particles and orange peel from dried automotive or furniture topcoats (preparing for repainting or waxing); eliminating fine sandpaper marks on metal surfaces to achieve a smooth finish, etc. Committed to Your Satisfaction We look forward to our products providing you with effective assistance—this is our sincere vision.
