Q : The product does not keep item hot for 24 hours as stated. A : THERMAL RETENTION PERFORMANCE AND HOW TO MAINTAIN RETENTION To achieve the above Thermal Performance, you must do as follows! Step 1: PREHEAT the carafe by filling half of the carafe with boiling hot water and leaving it for 10 mins. Step 2: If the preheated water is poured out after 10 minutes and a drink that needs to be kept warm is added, a temperature similar to the above test result is maintained. The more hot drinks are filled into the carafe, the better the warmth will be. Step 3: Pour as hot of a beverage as you possibly can. If you put a small amount of a hot drink into Thermal Carafe, it cools easily because the heat is easily taken away by the carafe's wall. If you fill 15-20% of the carafe, you cannot keep it hot longer than 90% fill. It is the same phenomenon as with other thermal carafes currently sold all over the world.
