We suggest a drill with an extension for rack assembly and rack mounting. We also suggest a tape measure, stud finder and a pen or pencil for marking. A small, 1/16 size drill bit can be used to pre-drill the holes in the studs. Put The Racks Together Next, take the arm of the rack and place it in the cutout of the backing plate. Use the smaller screws to tighten the arm to the backing plate using the drill. The Koa Vibes logo should be facing up. Pro Tip: Don't over-tighten backing plate to the arm. Snug is good enough. Finds The Studs Now it is time to position the racks. Locate the area where you want the racks displayed and use the stud finder to find a stud. If you cannot use a stud, drywall anchors are provided. Once a position is located for both racks, make a mark roughly at the desired height of the racks. Pro Tip: If possible, mount both racks 50% of total board length apart for the most stability. Screw The Racks In Place Use the tape measure to measure the exact desired height for both racks so the racks are level. Finally, place the base of the rack to the mark making sure the rack looks square to the position. Finish by taking the longer screws and screwing the racks in firmly in place. This is Koa Girl!
