Canadian Maple decks provide the light-weight needed to get airborne and the strength to take the impact when landing. 7-ply Construction Moose skateboard decks are made with a 7-ply construction (7 layers of wood with industrial glue holding them together). This is the industry standard for skateboard decks because it gives the deck the ideal amount of flex while maintaining a solid platform to skate on. The flex helps prevent snapping from hard impacts but is unnoticeable when skating. The construction also features a modern concave. Multiple sizes to choose from Moose offers decks in multiple size, ranging from 7.0" to 8.75". This includes specific sizes like 7.63" or 7.875", not just 0.25" increments. Moose knows size matters and wants every skater to find a deck that works for them. Variety of Colors Moose offers decks in both dipped and stained colorways. • Traditional 7-Ply Construction. The most common skateboard construction consists of seven layers of maple wood veneer, which are pressed and glued together with strong adhesive. Maple is a dense hard wood that provides excellent strength and pop, making it the tried and true standard for decades.
• Moose decks feature a modern shape. Full of pop, Moose boards have a mellow concave with steep kicks. The perfect combination of flex, stiffness, strength, and lightness.
• Moose decks come in a variety of sizes from 7.25” to 9.0”. There are no hard rules on what size skateboard should be ridden. We recommend a small size deck (7.25”) for people with shoe size 6 and under. Full size skateboards (7.5” – 9.0”) are recommended for skaters 13 and older. The most common size boards right now are 8.0” or 8.25”.
• This a high quality skateboard deck that is simply devoid of graphics or artwork. This is not necessarily a lower quality deck than the average “pro” deck, it’s cheaper because the lack of graphics make the boards easier to produce efficiently. The savings is passed along to the consumer.
