PENN-PLAX presents the Breed N’ Show Tank. This nifty piece offers a wide range of uses for the everyday aquarist. This tank can serve as a Breeding Trap, Baby (Fry) Nursery, or Isolation Trap. It’s designed to mount inside of an established fish tank. Please Note: The Breed N’ Show Tank will maintain the same water level as the aquarium it’s placed into. This piece is not a standalone enclosure (there are slotted holes on the bottom). This tank comes with a green hinged lid and a slotted divider that’s removable. Breeding Trap / Baby Nursery: For those looking to breed livebearers, such as Guppies, Mollies, Platies, Endler’s, or Swordtails, this enclosure is the perfect spot to place the expecting mother fish before she gives birth. To guarantee that the she doesn’t eat her offspring, the tank features a removable divider, allowing the little baby fry to swim out of harm’s way. Isolation Trap: In a perfect tank, you’d hope all your fish would get along, but there are times where that doesn’t happen. No matter what the reason may be, the Breed N’ Shows offers a solution to these encounters, whenever if you need to place the bully in a time out, or when you need to create a space for someone to rest and to recover. Measurements: Overall = 5.1” (W) x 5.25” (D) x 5” (H) / Top Lid = 5.1” (W) x 4” (D) / Top Lid Slits (ea) = 0.2” x 1.3” / Back Mount = 1” (D) / Removable Divider = 4.2” (W) x 3” (D) x 0.9” (H) / Bottom Base = 4.1” (W) x 2.8” (D).
