Tips: If you are on copper pipe, we further advise to ream the inside to reduce the roughness. STEP 2: Use deburring tool shown on the picture to ream the end of the pipe first and mark insertion depth on the pipe then. STEP 3: Push both ends into the fitting until the depth line covered (1/2" @ 29/32" or 23 mm). If pipe is not fully inserted, it will leave room for leakage. STEP 4: Complete connection. Tips: Please conduct the water leak test before you finish the behind-the-wall application. DISCONNECTION STEP 1: Position the disconnect clip next to the end. STEP 2: Press firmly the disconnect clip against the collar of the end. STEP 3: Pull the pipe out of the fitting with a twisting action. STEP 4: Complete disconnection.
