Use 2x4 or similar common wood as Ramp for 20 Gallon or taller bucket. PRO TIPS You can use this step to train the mice/Rat to be less cautions. This step isn't necessary but highly recommended and increases the catch rate. Step 1 Rotate the screw in the plank anti-clockwise so it touches the magnet, this way the trap isn’t triggered when the mice goes for the bait. Step 2 Apply the peanut butter on the edge of the plank. Leave it for a day of two and see if the mice eats the bait. Doing this makes the mice/Rat less cautious. If the mice/Rat don’t go for the bait, try adding very little bait making bait trail to the ramp. Step 3 On the third day or so re-bait and calibrate (refer to manual) the trap.
