Descripción

The Watts Duo-Cloz Manual Washing Machine Shutoff Valve is designed specifically to regulate water flow from the supply pipes to the flexible hoses connected to your washing machine, effectively preventing hose bursts that can lead to catastrophic water damage.Constructed with a durable brass body and brass ball valves featuring long-wearing PTFE seats, the valve promises long-lasting reliability and performance. It has a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi and a maximum temperature tolerance of 180° F, and its ball-type design allows it to be opened to any position, enabling precise throttling of water flow and minimizing the risk of pipe banging caused by fast-closing solenoid valves. This valve also features a single Duo-Cloz lever, which provides a simple yet effective means to simultaneously control both hot and cold water, allowing you to shut off the water supply with a quick flip, thereby protecting your washing machine from potential water damage. This feature is especially useful for preventing hose bursts. For added versatility, the valve includes 1/2" copper dual copper straight adapters for 1/2" male NPT or 1/2" solder end connections, making it adaptable to various installation requirements, and the 3/4" hose connections ensure a secure fit with standard washing machine hoses, providing a leak-proof setup that enhances overall safety. Additionally, installation is straightforward and user-friendly, designed to be positioned a minimum of 3 inches above the washing machine.
