ER70S-6 MIG WIRE: It's the most common wire of the copper-coated mild steel GMAW (MIG) wires for single or multiple pass welding.
SHIELDING GAS: ER70S-6 welding wire can be used with 100% CO2 or a mixture of 80% Ar and 20% CO2 as shielding gas. Make sure to choose a wire that is compatible with the shielding gas you'll be using.
EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE: ER70S-6 has the highest combination of manganese and silicon deoxidizers, permitting higher welding currents with 100% CO2 shielding gas and leaving a smoother weld bead with little to zero post-weld cleanup. It is suited for application of sheet metal on high welding current without burn through.
VERSATILE APPLICATIONS: This welding wire is commonly used for a wide range of applications, including construction work, farm implement fabrication, shaft buildup, tanks, truck bodies, and general shop applications with poor fit-up or rusty, oily plates. It is also great for automobile body repairs, steel structural works, earthworks, and construction works.
STRONG SPOOL: The wire is supplied on a robust spool constructed from a new ABS plastic material. This spool is highly durable, tough, and anti-fragile, ensuring it withstands the rigors of transportation and operates flawlessly within the welding machine.
